Our latest software release – we’ll guide you through with our new tutorials!

Today we proudly deliver our third software release of the year, version 4.3.0, which is now available for our customers to download through Microsoft Azure Marketplace and AWS. We are incredibly excited about the new features in this release as they focus on improving customer experience. The team at Exonar have worked really hard to simplify the complexity of our software into an experience which is as intuitive and seamless for our platform users as possible.

Our embedded tutorials help you get your work done step by step

Taking centre-stage in version 4.3.0 are the introduction of dynamic tutorials. As users come and go within roles within the organisation, it’s important that individuals can adopt technology quickly without extensive training in advance. These interactive tutorials lend a helping hand to new and existing users of the platform by taking users on a step-by-step learning experience, as if a trainer was sitting beside them.  We’ve included ten initial tutorials with this release, covering a a range of key tasks and activities a user might look to complete.  It is likely we will add additional tutorials in future, and we even envisage customised tutorial flows for specific needs of individual customers.

These add a personal touch to our product and ensure our customers are equipped to protect and power their data in the best possible way.

Also receiving a makeover in version 4.3.0 is our platform homepage, which has been redesigned to take users from insight to action in three logical steps. Users can quickly Find the specific information they need from a mountain of data, Visualise this data to gain valuable insight, and finally Automate searches with workflows to see changes to your data quicker.

In addition to these new features, we’ve also made other enhancements to our product, fixed a few bugs, and logged some known issues, all of which can be viewed in our 4.3.0 Release Update Document. We now invite all of our customers to plan their upgrade by contacting our Support Team or Head of Customer Success, using the normal channels.

Our next release is planned for Q4 2020 and will include the launch of our public API and updated data source connectors to operate with our latest crawler technology.

 

Our latest software release – explore your organisation’s OneDrive and SharePoint data!

Today we’re excited to deliver and make available our latest software release, version 4.2.0, to customers, with download also available through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace and AWS from the end of this week.

This release is all about updating and improving our connectivity into Microsoft 365, the world’s most widely deployed employee productivity software, used by the majority of medium and large Enterprises. Having already released an improved Exchange 365 connector the uses the Microsoft Graph API, this release adds new and improved connectors for SharePoint 365 and OneDrive for Business too.  This version also contains a number of other minor feature enhancements and improvements.

The Exonar Product Strategy and formal roadmap was first published at our Customer Forum in May. The strategy plots our route to retain our world-leading position in data discovery at scale; driving deeper customer value within the product; and integrating with third party technologies to form broader solutions to data-related challenges faced by organisations across the globe.

Commenting on today’s release, Danny Reeves, Exonar CEO said “This is the second consecutive release that’s been built, tested and delivered on schedule by our amazing Engineering and DevOps teams, despite difficult circumstances and the challenges of remote working. This is just one of many improvements in an increasingly exciting product roadmap, with some big and exciting news coming in the next few months”.

Our next release is planned for August 2020 and will include a new homepage layout for users, and integrated tutorials to help users across organisations get the most out of the product.

Exonar joins SASIG as a Supporter

Here at Exonar we are delighted to announce our supporter membership of The SASIG. A UK-founded scale-up software company specialising in data discovery at huge scale, Exonar is used by infosec professionals in enterprises to discover both structured and unstructured data right across the organisation, in order to secure it and reduce risk.

We are huge admirers of the job that The SASIG does in bringing the information and cyber security community together, to provide leadership and a credible voice and we are excited to have the opportunity to play a part.

Exonar appoints new CEO as it looks to the next phase of expansion

After a Series A round of investment in 2019, and recent strengthening of the executive leadership team, technology scale-up veteran, Danny Reeves, today joins Exonar as the new CEO of the business.

Adrian Barrett, Founder and former CEO, will step aside but continue to be a shareholder and to act in an advisory role to the business. In Adrian’s words, “Having founded this business as a start-up, I always knew there would be a time when the leadership team I’ve been building would be ready to take Exonar through its next exciting period of growth and expansion.

“Now is the moment to hand the reins to Danny, a technology leader with a huge amount of experience in driving businesses through critical periods of scale-up. I am confident that the whole team at Exonar will be successful in accelerating the growth of the business, whilst retaining a laser focus on adding value to our customers in the information intelligence space in the months and years ahead.”

Reeves joins Exonar having spent thirty years in the technology industry, holding a number of senior leadership roles in large global organisations such as Deutsche Bank, Capita and Balfour Beatty. His most recent years have been spent building scale-up businesses in similar phases to Exonar’s current stage of development, with success stories including CBRE Romonet.

Commenting on his latest challenge, Reeves says, “I’m really excited to be joining Exonar today, an industry leading and highly respected company in the exciting, not to mention crucial, market of data discovery, governance and intelligence.
